Jaggy and Sameer are out jogging. Sameer asks how he’s going to cope being away from Kesar when he moves up to Bury this week. Jaggy defensively says he’ll only be a couple of hours up the motorway. They see some kids spraying graffiti on the Jilani Stores. Jaggy jokes that you don’t spell Paki with a ‘y’, but Sameer’s not laughing – this is about Rozena.
Zenab is attempting to persuade Rozena not to go into work – she doesn’t think she’s ready so soon after the trial. But Roz is determined.
Meanwhile, Danyal is sorting out the lighting for ‘it-girl’ Saffron Turlington’s 18th Birthday party. He calls Arun who’s busy packing – he’s staying up in London this week to finalise all the party arrangements. Arun gets a call from the security firm for the party. They want to confirm arrangements for the Security Guards’ rider of food for the night. Arun says Danyal will sort it and gives them his number.
Sameer still can’t get in touch with Mushtaq about the graffiti. Jaggy asks him about Rozena, and Sameer confides that since the trial things have been a bit odd: they’ve got very close, physically. Jaggy says he’s a lucky man, but for Sameer it feels strange – they’ve been separated for so long.
Arun grabs a sandwich from the café before heading to London, and runs into Jas. She doesn’t think much of his bragging about the party – she can’t believe he took money from Jai for his events business. The security firm call Danyal and ask him about sorting out the rider for the Security Guards. Danyal tells them that’s Arun’s responsibility and gives them his number.
Rozena arrives at Sameer’s flat in a state: she’s seen the graffiti. Sameer comforts her and Rozena’s glad to be safe in his arms. They end up in the bedroom. Rozena can’t stand being around Silver Hill anymore. Sameer suggests she go back to Dubai with him, and to his surprise she loves the idea.
