Rozena is off to see her barrister. Zenab thinks she or Mushtaq should come too but Rozena wants to go alone. Zenab gives up but makes Rozena wear the protective religious pendant she got for her. Once Rozena leaves Zenab turns her attention to Imran by attempting to tidy his room. Imran tells her he’ll do it himself later. Zenab asks how his meeting with the barrister went yesterday. Just then the doorbell rings and Imran suggests Zenab answer it.
Someone is staring at Jaggy and he asks Faye who it is. He is told it’s their old school friend Lisa Clarke. Jaggy is shocked by how different she looks. Faye takes this as a negative comment but Jaggy quickly retracts saying he meant she looks good. Faye reckons that was well saved and Jaggy should be a goal keeper! Later Jaggy gets good news. The football club will extend his trial by a month and there could be a job at the end of it. Faye asks how he feels about leaving Simran and Kesar behind. Jaggy reckons he can always visit besides its not like he and Simran are getting back together. They have separate lives now.
Sameer returns Rozena’s call. He asks how she is and Rozena says she has just met her barrister about the trial. Rozena was warned that she will face some tough questions in court. The prosecution will try to make it everything was her fault. Sameer reminds her she isn’t the one on trial but Rozena says she’s not so sure.
Jas visits Imran. When Zenab finally leaves them alone Jas tells Imran she knows he breached his bail conditions to see Gary. Imran says he had to warn Gary about what they’ll say about his dad in court. He asks Jas if she thinks Gary will tell the police. Jas reckons if he hasn’t said anything yet there’s a good chance Imran might have got away with it – this time!
Rozena tells Sameer she’s glad he called. Sameer wishes he could be there to support her in person. All she has to do is ask. Rozena doesn’t know what to say. Sameer takes her hesitation to mean she doesn’t want him there….
