Khatija bumps into Zenab out shopping. She greets her but is startled by Zenab’s rude response. Confused, Khatija asks about Imran and is shocked when Zenab calls her an evil witch. Zenab is vitriolic as she accuses Khatija of putting a curse on the Jilanis. Khatija can’t believe what Zenab is saying and tells Zenab she’s being ridiculous. Zenab warns Khatija menacingly that she’d better watch out for her own children and storms off. Khatija rushes home in tears and tells Zak what just happened. She’s distraught that Zenab could think she would do something like that. Zak comforts his mum as she sobs into her shawl.
Arun is chuckling at Roopa and Bina’s video that he’s uploaded onto the internet when Roopa walks in and catches him. She’s furious until she sees that it’s already had a thousand hits. She looks closer to read some of the comments which all seem to agree that Roopa’s got talent. Unfortunately they are not so complementary about Bina and the online vote is 85% in favour of Roopa going solo – how is Roopa going to break that to Bina! Arun agrees with Roopa’s fans, Bina’s a no hoper and Roopa’s going to have to tell her.
Khatija can’t wait to get away now. She rushes around getting everything ready for their trip. Zak has collected the flight tickets and their cases are all packed except Nadia’s. Nadia is having doubts about going to Pakistan but daren’t voice her doubts to her mum. Instead she pretends she is concerned whether her dad is really up to traveling yet. She suggests that they should wait but Khatija is determined, she tells Nadia to stop whinging, the sooner they get Pervaiz away from this bad atmosphere the better!
