To Kuljit’s relief Sway finally arrives at the studio to try and solve the problem. Kuljit badgers him to hurry up and wants to know how long it’ll take to fix. Sway becomes increasingly irritated by Kuljit going on and on but eventually he thinks he’s fixed it. Kuljit is elated but Sway wants to check things first so he sends Kuljit out to give Jodie a hand before he drives him mad.
In the café Roopa sees Sean arriving and drools about him to Bina. Bina tells her to forget about impressing Sean and to concentrate on impressing the music producer she’s just spotted. The two girls go over and turn on the charm offensive. The poor man doesn’t stand a chance as they big themselves up to him. He seems a little confused though when they ask how long he’s been producing – all he produces is fish and chips! Roopa and Bina are mortified. Everyone heard them make a fool of themselves with the chip shop owner. Jodie puts a stop to their chat though and gets them back to work.
Finally, Sway is happy that the desk is working. Kuljit can’t thank him enough and asks him to celebrate next door with a couple of drinks. Sway’s not in a party mood though and he makes his excuses and leaves. In the café Jodie calls for attention for Kuljit to make an announcement. Kuljit tells the waiting crowd all about the new studio facilities and says a special thank you to Amrit, Mani and of course Jodie. Then he officially invites everyone in to see the studio for themselves.
Meanwhile Nadia finally returns Sway’s call. She whispers that she can’t talk for long, she doesn’t want to get caught on the phone to him. She explains that Pervaiz is out of hospital and that her mum and dad are going to Pakistan for a while for him to recover. Sway is hopeful, this will make things easier for him and Nadia. Nadia quickly dashes his hopes though – she’s going with them!
