Khatija tells Zak on the phone that they’re not saying anything about Pervaiz. Khatija feels like they’re being punished. Zak tells she has to be strong for him and the fire officers will tell them how it started.
Jai tells Arun, rumour has it, Pervaiz started the fire on purpose. Jai then spots Sean walking in and offers him a job training people how to use the gym equipment. Sean is surprised and accepts the job. Jai is impressed with Arun’s Ibiza style beach party but they need to sell themselves better on the website and there’s no soundtrack for a start. Arun says they’ve got no events they can show pictures of yet but Jai thinks the gig doesn’t have to be his, he wouldn’t be faking it, just modifying it. Jai also asks Sean if Brian can get hold of some builder’s sand for the party. Arun shows them Roopa and Bina singing and dancing on his laptop. They think Roopa is on to something and they should showcase her talents on YouTube.
Kamla is baby sitting Kesar and Jaggy pops in. She tells him that Simran was upset when she left to meet her client because of the fire at the Akhtars which maybe Pervaiz started. Jaggy didn’t know about it but promises to ring Simran.
Jai visits Kamla at Simran’s flat and asks about Krishan’s new school. Kamla explains that Krishan threw a wobbly and it’s not like him to answer back. Kamla goes to get Kesar a drink and plonks Kesar on Jai who gets whacked over the head with his toy.
At the hospital, Khatija calls Zak to say that Pervaiz is not responding as well as he could be because of his old chest injury. They just have to wait and see now. Zak tells her that just the walls and carpet need replacing from the fire but Khatija says photos and Pervaiz’s records can’t be replaced. She bets that Zenab is gossiping about them too and if anyone is to blame, for all this, it’s the Jilanis and they will get what’s coming to them.
