Chas and Jake tease Krishan by calling him Mooli in the canteen and about having goat curry in his lunch box. Krishan gets upset as knocks over a chair as he gets up to leave. Later on, they take his mobile phone saying it’s not a bad phone considering his dad came over on a boat with a goat. Krishan is close to tears as he gets pushed up against the lockers. Luckily the bell rings and they walk off with his phone.
At the salon, Kesar is getting agitated and wanting sweets whilst Simran is mixing hair dye for a client. She then hears him bawling his eyes out and discovers the top to the hair dye is missing. When he starts coughing, she fears he’s swallowed it and panics. The Paramedic arrives and loosens Kesar’s clothing, out pops the top from under his vest. Simran bursts into tears with relief but apologises for calling them out. The Paramedic warns her that a Salon is not a place for kids as there all kinds of chemicals in the air and she needs to find adequate childcare.
It’s Pradeep’s birthday and Kamla has cooked his specialities. Jai’s card plays ‘Old Macdonald has a farm’ which only Kamla finds funny. Krishan comes home from school and is starving, so hungry that he forget’s his dad’s birthday and then rudely storms off upstairs.
Simran rings Kamla, she needs someone trustworthy to babysit Kesar on a regular. Kamla’s not sure but suggests doing it on a trial basis. A sheepish Simran says she needs her to start tomorrow.
Rita and Pradeep confront Krishan about his bad attitude and Rita wonders why he’s so hungry when she made him lunch. He tells Rita he doesn’t want her stupid sandwiches and he told everyone at school that his dad and Mooli came over on a boat. Then he storms out. Rita is disgusted with his behaviour but Pradeep thinks maybe the Mooli thing was probably too much for him. Rita tells Pradeep not to defend him, she will get to the bottom of it.
