Have your say
Kuljit leaves a voice message for Sway warning him that his mum and Gramps are on their way to see him. Kuljit later tells Jodie that Sway doesn’t know whether he’s coming or going so may not welcome Shirley and Gramps’s visit.
Sway spots Nadia as he listens to Kuljit’s voice message. She is angry with him, not only did he hurt her but her family as well and now her dad’s not well, she wants him to leave her alone but first, explain why he did it? Sway says he’s spent the whole weekend thinking about it. Nadia says she’s spent her whole weekend fending off pitying faces and nasty remarks from her clients. Sway suggests they find somewhere private to chat but Nadia doesn’t want to, if he had just said the words, how much easier would it have been?
Shirley heads to Kuljit’s studio as she can’t find Sway. Whilst Kuljit makes tea, Gramps heads for the microphone but Shirley is in no mood for jokes. Gramps reassures her that Sway will be fine and at least he saw sense.
Sway and Nadia chat in the park. She has every right to be angry with him but he just wants her to hear him out. He explains that he walked away because he thought he was protecting her from his messed up feelings. If he had gone through with it, in his heart he would be lying to everyone. Nadia says she didn’t ask him to convert. He wanted to do it for her but then realised, he couldn’t. He explains he’s not the same person that she met and he’ll always be honest, even if it hurts. Khatija’s phonecall interrupts them and she walks away.
At the studio, Gramps is singing into the mic which Kuljit finds amusing. A worried Shirley goes for a walk and spots Sway smoking. He’s a bit embarrassed and reassures her that he needed time on his own and he would have called if he knew what to say, he needs to work this one out on his own. Shirley says she’s not going anywhere until she knows he’s ok.
