Jaggy tells Simran he just saw Pervaiz and he looks disheveled. Simran isn’t surprised after the shock of Sway backing out of his conversion to Islam. Jaggy is then disappointed to discover Simran is intending to move back to her flat today. Jaggy is concerned about fumes from the salon affecting Kesar but Simran reassures him it will be fine. Besides Kulwant is taking the bulk of the appointments so Simran can keep an eye on Kesar. Jaggy offers to baby-sit but Simran suggests he concentrate on his own life now. Jaggy admits defeat and offers to help her move. On her way out Simran tells Pervaiz she is here if he wants to talk and reminds him he was there when she needed someone. She has never forgotten it. Pervaiz tentatively starts to tell her about Sway but clams up when Jaggy interrupts.
Elsewhere Zak is outside the mosque talking to the Imam and Syed. They both reassure Zak that Sway will be back soon enough. Zak makes his way to the Islamic shop to get his dad some black seed oil. Ali asks how the conversion went. Zak eventually snaps saying he hates Sway and pushes Ali against the wall. Zak finally admits what happened and apologises. Ali promises to pray for the Akhtars during Ramadan.
The Imam and Syed go to Sway’s flat and he eventually lets them in. Syed says he’ll pop to the shop so the Imam and Sway can have a chat. The Imam tells Sway everyone is worried about him. Sway gives him the clock Zak got him as a conversion gift saying he can’t keep it now. He’d like the Imam to return it to Zak and apologise on Sway’s behalf. The Imam tells him to keep it but Sway says he can’t. Later Sway opens up to Syed saying he can’t face anyone and he knows the Akhtars are baying for his blood. Syed insists Sway explain things to Nadia at least. Sway says he has tried but doesn’t know what to say. He’ll try again – soon….
