Simran chats to Sway about the Mela. She wants to promote Beauty Magic and give away discounts to tempt her old customers back.
Roopa and Bina get their results but Roopa is disappointed with her one B and three C’s. Bina suggests they go into town on a shopping spree.
Jaggy meets the Alan the football director who asks whether his injury was really like the papers made out. Jaggy tries to convince him that League football’s where he belongs, he wants experience as an assistant coach whilst getting his qualifications. Jaggy explains that his playing days are still really fresh and he’s willing to learn again. Alan says they have a full coaching team and besides would he be there to benefit from the players or benefit himself from his coaches? He’s not sure there’s anything they can offer him.
At the shops, Roopa makes Bina rush out the shop and act like nothing’s happening. Outside Roopa unzips her bag and shows Bina the blue top she liked. Bina is shocked that she stole it but Roopa just giggles. Bina can’t believe it and leaves Roopa to get food alone.
At the newly refurbished Beauty Magic, Jaggy is subdued and tells Simran they didn’t want him, three clubs have turned him down now. Simran says he knew it was a long shot. He blames himself for standing up in court against Darren. Simran suggests starting lower if it keeps him in football but Jaggy wonders what he will do for the rest of his life.
Roopa meets Siobhan at the Golden Crown, she’s not been home yet. She explains to Siobhan that Bina wanted greasy food and if she ate, she wouldn’t stop so instead she stole a top. Siobhan understands that she is translating one emotion into another, she did it years ago for money to pay for drugs. No one knows but Mark, her husband was also her therapist he put her back together. Siobhan tells her to focus on the Mela talent contest now for a different kind of rush.
