Rita is making Krishan buy a bigger uniform size so he can grow into it. Krishan is annoyed with his parents, he wants them to support him, things go wrong when some children get all the attention and some don’t, that’s what happened to Uncle Jai. Rita says there is no excuse for what Jai became, they were bought up the same. Rita senses Kamla is behind this.
Arun tries to talk to Roopa but she knows they are all treating her with care until her results arrive. They needn’t bother. She throws Arun out and starts bingeing on sweets and crying. Siobhan rings her and reassures her that she will do well, she needs to stay positive, she could always do retakes, addiction is a response to things she control but it’s not the answer.
Rita confronts Kamla, how dare she tell Krishan about Jai and put the blame on their dad Kamla says it was an accident, she was wondering out loud whether they has supported Jai enough as a child.
Krishan shows off his new uniform but Arun teases him. Krishan tells Arun that at Grammar school, everyone wears a uniform, they’re not thick like him. Roopa leaves and Krishan feels bad that he’s upset her.
At the park, Jai collars Arun to give him a hand lifting Pradeep’s stand. Jai pretends he doesn’t know its Pradeep’s stand and makes sure they put it in between the generator and the toilets. Jai says Sway has to give centre stage to his lead sponsor, money talks and he doesn’t want to be bottom of the heap like his dad.
Kamla asks Krishan how he knew about those things concerning Uncle Jai. Krishan doesn’t want to say but after Kamla took the blame, she has a right to know. Krishan went to see Jai because he needed to understand why his parents hate him. Krishan knows she’s been visiting him too. Kamla’s not angry, it can be their secret.
Kamla meets Jai at the park and Kamla tells him that she covered for him and Krishan but if Rita finds out, they will all be in trouble.
