Imran rings a busy Pradeep at Saffron Rays. He knows someone who can do a computer model of the City Farm plans and maybe they could take a laptop round. Pradeep is not keen so Imran suggests putting up posters or creating updated leaflets to hand out. Pradeep has to hang up as someone drops the dishes. Later Pradeep apologises for being rude and he appreciates everything he did for the City Farm. If he worked on the updated leaflets, it would help.
Kuljit shows Mani around his recording studio. Mani suggests other ideas like having a window through to Reception and steel shutters but Kuljit says they can’t afford that stuff. Mani says Mushtaq knows a man who can provide it at half price. Mani then suggests a water fountain and Kuljit gets annoyed, he’s already had the plumbers in! Mani believes Kuljit is not thinking outside the box and he takes the product brochures home to see what he can come up with.
Kuljit tells Jodie that Mani has new ideas for the studio but doesn’t understand modern technology and he’s already pushing the budget as far as it can go. He was torn when he offered him the money and now it feels like he is taking over.
Pradeep tells Mani that he wonders whether he gives Kuljit special treatment. He couldn’t understand why he made him the manager when they went to India and when it was to do with his dad, he didn’t mind covering but this studio thing is private, it’s not fair on him or the other staff. Mani agrees and awards him a bonus for all the times he’s filled in as Manager. Pradeep is surprised at the large amount and tells Rita they can go to Spain together.
Kuljit explains to Mani that he is an investor not a manager, they have a bond but it’s not a professional one, they only share the secret about Jodie and now he is lying to her. Kuljit says the he can still take his money back or tell Jodie the truth? Mani apologises and says he’ll step back, he can not lose Jodie again.
