Sway and Zak are preparing for the Mela. Zak insists Sway talks to the workmen who are trampling all over their cricket pitch, how else will they get to play the Final on Mela Day?
Mushtaq notices Imran is getting through a lot of his mum’s homemade lemonade but an honest Imran says there is vodka in it. Jas walks in and notices the atmosphere is a bit tense between father and son. Imran explains it’s because his dad has found out about his secret drinking. Jas has come for Imran’s advice about Jai being the lead sponsor this year, he’s now demanding special treatment. Imran approaches the subject about Vinnie, he’s noticed that she talks about him a lot. She admits they are kind of seeing each other and asks if he is ok with that. Imran admits that he messed up and was the one who walked out so she shouldn’t feel so bad.
The boys are in the cricket final. Zak thinks it’s his reward for the fasting he’s been doing and maybe Sway should do the same and then the Mela will be a success. Sway reluctantly agrees. Zak believes it’ll give him the discipline to get him through Ramzan and it’d be great if he was a Muslim by then as it’s the best time to prove your dedication.
As Jas leaves, Mushtaq asks if she’ll be coming again and he could always pick her and drop her off. Imran will need all their support with the trial only being weeks away. Mushtaq later tells Imran that Jas is a good girl and she’s never far off when you need her. Imran rings Sway to tell him that they need to keep Jai on side, he had to swallow his pride on some occasions too but besides Mark Ramprakash will be main attraction. Sway despairs, due to Jai putting the pressure on, he didn’t even ring Mark’s people. Imran says Jai can take the flak from the crowd, it’ll teach him that he can’t buy people’s affections.
