Have your say

Mushtaq throws his newspaper down. All it does is depress him. Imran says at least he has the re-opening of Jilani Stores to look forward to. Imran feels guilty that it got burnt down because of him but Mushtaq reassures him it wasn’t his fault. He heads off saying he can’t wait to get his hands on those new keys! Simran is also excited about the salon re-opening today and can’t wait to start decorating the place. Jaggy says she will be busy for a while and he is more than happy to look after Kesar.

Rita and Pradeep are looking at holidays for their wedding anniversary. Pradeep is shocked at how expensive they are so Rita suggests somewhere closer to home. The main thing is that it will be just the two of them away from here. Suddenly Rita remembers someone at work who rents out her villa in Spain. Pradeep thinks it sounds perfect and adds he needs to get onto the computer to read up on National Allotment week. Rita knows he misses the allotments but says the City Farm should make up for it. Pradeep is pleased he has a decent pitch at the mela to drum up support. Rita tells him Roopa is also entering the mela talent contest.

Simran collects the salon keys from Mushtaq and comments on how empty it looks. There is a lot of work to do besides she needs to think of a good re-launch idea. Mushtaq suggests a stall at the mela but Simran says that’s Nadia’s domain. Mushtaq reminds her it’s a free market and there’s nothing wrong with competition. Later Jaggy and Kesar turn up. Jaggy says at least he can keep Kesar occupied while Simran concentrates on the refurbishment. Simran then drops a bombshell. She is moving back into the upstairs flat. Jaggy needs to concentrate on his own career too and can’t lose opportunities because of Kesar. Jaggy is disappointed but its clear Simran has made up her mind.

Mushtaq fills Imran in on his new plans for Jilani Stores. Imran has some news of his own. He is also going to get back on track and the first step is to beat the drinking. Mushtaq says they’ll support him and that the only way to conquer the fear of failing is be determined to succeed….
