Sway is chatting to Zak about the partition exhibit. Arun approaches and Sway heads off. Zak and Arun attempt a conversation but it awkward after their recent falling out. Zak and Arun recognize Mani’s voice amongst the recordings but Arun is puzzled as to why Mary is reading a poem. Jas explains India wasn’t the only country that went through partition. Arun hears his Gran’s recording and realises she was very lucky compared to some.
Sway is worried about the council official. Jas says she came out of it looking pleased enough but Sway is unconvinced saying his lack of planning will be obvious. Sway reckons Gramps faking an illness made sure Sway didn’t devote enough time to it. He could curse Gramps!
Later Jas and Vinnie are discussing how well the response has been but then one of the visitors accuses them of upsetting his child with the photo content. Jas points out the pictures depict a true account of partition but they will put warning signs up. The father walks off and Jas is alarmed to see the council official heading in his direction.
Kuls tells Mindy he can’t wait to get the recording studio off the ground. Mindy suggests he ask Sway if he can do more work for Parkside too. Kuls decides to have another listen. Danyal asks Mindy if Arun is around. Mindy says it’s nothing to do with her as they have split up. Danyal says he is sorry to hear that and hopes to see her around.
Arun and Zak seem to be back on track as friends and this surprises Danyal when he catches up with them. He asks if they want to see the exhibit again with him but Arun declines. Zak suggests find Sean and they head off leaving Danyal standing there alone.
Sway rounds everyone up. He announces the council representative described the exhibit as an ‘Artistic Success’. He thanks them for stepping in when he had to deal with the Gramps situation. Kuljit tells Sway that Sarah phoned and Gramps is really broken about what he did. Sway says he won’t be the one mending him and leaves!
