Jai enters the warehouse with trepidation. He can’t see anyone and calls out with mock bravado. Hearing a noise he walks towards it and can’t believe his eyes when he sees Krishan! It was Krishan who scratched his car and sent the letters. Grabbing him by the throat Jai demands to know why. Krishan angrily blurts out how Jai let them all down, especially Ba. He begins to sob saying he doesn’t understand why Jai did it. Seeing Krishan’s distress Jai calms down and takes him back to the apartment. While Krishan freshens up Jai cooks him a snack and tells him what a dangerous stunt he just pulled. Jai tries to explain why he disappeared and apologises for hurting Krishan earlier. He doesn’t want Rita finding out. Krishan reassures his Uncle he won’t say a word, he’d only get into trouble.
Mushtaq and Zenab discuss Imran. He disappeared to his room earlier to read but they both suspect he’s been drinking up there. Zenab encourages Mushtaq to talk to him but he makes an excuse and goes up to bed. Zenab’s annoyed with Mushtaq for burying his head in the sand and decides to take Imran a sandwich. When he hears her knock on the door Imran quickly hides away a vodka bottle before he calls ‘come in’.
Siobhan decides to spend the night at the Golden Crown after rowing with her husband over the phone. He’s accused her of neglecting her responsibilities. She chats to Pete as he serves punters. He tells her about his new job in the gym. Siobhan wonders how he’s getting on with Jai as a boss. Just then Jai comes over; full of the joys of spring now he knows who the ‘heavy’ is. He buys Siobhan a drink and suggests they go out partying like the old days. When Siobhan’s phone rings and she ignores it he snatches it to see who she’s avoiding and sees it’s Mark. Siobhan tells him to mind his own business when he teases her about being all settled down. But his taunts have the desired effect and she rises to his bait. She might have responsibilities but she’s far from safe and boring, Siobhan does what she wants…and she wants to party!
