Jai is at home and the apartment buzzer starts ringing constantly. He initially thinks its Kamla but then concludes it must be kids. Jai grabs his car keys and heads downstairs where he gives the concierge a piece of his mind. In the car park Jai is livid to discover someone has scratched his car and left a threatening note.
Gramps is packing when Nadia turns up with her parents. They have come to see if Gramps is feeling any better. Sway says he is in the bedroom and Khatija heads off before Sway can stop her. She discovers Gramps looking under the bed for his slippers and remarks on how well he suddenly seems. Sway quickly interjects and Gramps groans that his back is hurting. Khatija enquires about the suitcase and is told the doctor gave Gramps the all clear to continue his recovery in London. The Akhtars are walking down the street speculating about Gramps. Khatija doesn’t think he looked ill and Pervaiz agrees. Khatija reckons there’s something fishy going on. Nadia thinks there must be a reasonable explanation.
Later, Nadia and Sway take Gramps to the train station. Sway helps him on board telling Nadia he’ll be right back. Gramps admits he only pretended to be ill to stop Sway making a mistake. Gramps is sorry for what he did but doesn’t regret trying to stop Sway from converting to Islam. Once the train leaves Nadia defends Gramps saying he did it out of love. Nadia says she will always be at Sway’s side and he responds by saying that’s all that really matters.
Jai pulls up outside Saffron Rays and shouts to Vinnie to get outside. Jai waves the note in his face accusing him of everything. Vinnie tells Jai he hasn’t got time to listen to this before heading back inside. Jai makes his way to the gym where he takes his frustrations out on Pete before making a call. He leaves a message saying he’ll have the money soon and needs a bit more time. He has got the message…..
