Rita admits to Pradeep that she is feeling drained by the entire Doshi case and questions how she will break the difficult news to the children. Later, Rita and Carla visit the Patel household with Mr. Doshi whom breaks down as he tries to tell his children that their mother is ill. Mohindra begins to cry as his father struggles with the news and Aarti refuses to believe that their mother will die. Rita follows her out into the garden and tries to speak to her. Rita reaches a turning point with her and begins to tell her of Mrs. Doshi’s brain tumour and that Aarti must not blame herself.
At Saffron Rays, Vinnie is on the phone with Jas. However, he quickly ends the call when Jai arrives and abruptly demands a table. There’s a distinct arrogance from Jai as he thinks that he recognises Vinnie.
Mrs. Patel tells Mr. Doshi, Rita and Carla that she is happy to have Aarti and Mohindra for as long as needed and that Ravi and Haya can visit their siblings whenever they like. Carla then asks him whether he knew that his wife was ill and as Rita translates he begins to get upset at himself for not noticing that something was wrong. Rita insists that his family is being looked after by people who care.
Meanwhile, Jai gets even more wound up by Vinnie for not getting his order right. When Jai drops a dish in his lap, Jai sees red and pushes Vinnie against a wall wanting to know what his problem is. Jai then realises that he has noticed Vinnie from Jas’ party. He then begins to taunt him and questions how Rita would feel if she knew that Vinnie gave Jas and Roopa alcohol and how would she react knowing a lowly waiter is after Jas. Vinnie is quick with his follow up adding that he and Kamla are good friends and he even helped her in her search for Jai in London. He in turn questions how Kamla would feel knowing that Jai is making threats against Vinnie. Jai lets him go and warns Vinnie not to cross him and Vinnie insists that he isn’t scared of him…
