Jas has been busying herself with the Mela to keep out of the house. Since Jai’s return things have been tense at the Chauhan’s. Kuljit sympathises and wonders what she’s planned for her 21st on Sunday. Jas groans, she’s got no money and nowhere to have a party so celebrations are off. As she walks away Kuljit starts making some plans of his own.
Rozena and Sameer are enjoying the tennis but Rozena’s got a different kind of mixed doubles in mind. Sameer reckons it’ll take more than a portion of strawberries and cream to repair the damage to their relationship. He’s going to Dubai to give Rozena the space she wanted and its too late for her to play the guilt card on him. He tells Rozena that he’ll always be there for her if she needs him though.
Kuljit catches up with Jas again and can’t wait to give her his news. Her 21st party is all set, she can use Jodie’s barge, all her mates can bring a bottle and Jodie’s providing the food. It’s their birthday present for her. Jas has to hold back the tears she’s so touched.
Pradeep is livid when he hears that Zenab has accepted a donation to the City Farm from Jai. Arun can’t understand why his dad is so angry, they need the funding after all. Pradeep wonders if Arun has forgotten the damage Jai did to their family. Arun continues to try and defend Jai and it suddenly dawns on Pradeep that Jai has given Arun money as well. Arun denies it at first then comes clean that Jai offered to back him and Danyal. He protests though that he hasn’t taken the money yet. As the rest of the Chauhans look at him in shock Jas makes it clear; if he ever takes the money from Jai – she’ll never speak to him again!
