Kuljit and Jodie have spent the afternoon in bed. Kuls tells her he spoke to his dad this morning. Jodie says it’s funny how they both found their dads since coming here. Kuls isn’t sure about Amrit funding his business but Jodie reckons that’s what family is for. Jodie needs to get to work but Kuls decides they should have a shower together first!
Mary comments on how much chocolate Jas is buying at the newsagents. Jas asks how things are. Mary says they’re all stressed about the auction but at least Siobhan and Hannah are visiting today. Mary asks Jas how the job hunting is going and senses Jas is confused about which direction to take. Later, Jas is helping Rita with some research. Rita asks if Jas has changed her mind about not working in journalism. Jas says she isn’t really sure what she wants to do. Rita suggests it might help financially to move home for a while.
Hannah and Siobhan arrive and Sean comes out to greet them. Hannah excitedly tells him about the train journey. Siobhan asks how Pete is doing and is told he could do with some TLC but is looking forward to meeting Hannah. Siobhan and Sean give Hannah a tour of her old room. Siobhan tells Sean how her dad once tore her posters off the wall. Sean opens a cupboard and discovers traces of the black and purple paint she had when it was her bedroom. Hannah starts asking awkward questions about why Siobhan never talked about her family before leading Sean to change the subject. Hannah wonders if Mary will let her serve in the pub. Sean suggests they go and ask her.
Mary is overjoyed to see Hannah. Siobhan asks where Pete is and Mary says he is in the cellar. Mary reckons meeting Hannah is just what Pete needs. A rowdy group of men come in and Mary says they are builders. She asks Siobhan to lend a hand behind the bar and suggests Hannah could help Sean with the sandwiches. For the first time in ages the Bradys share a happy moment together…..
