Shirley is still in bed after her party. Kuls brings her some tea and says Sway is cooking her breakfast. Shirley says it was wonderful to see all her foster kids again and then asks how things are with Sway now. Kuls says they sorted of agreed to disagree about the religious stuff but its obvious Sway just isn’t thinking straight.
Sway is busy cooking. Mogs unwittingly offers sausages to Nadia until Tracey reminds him she is Muslim and therefore doesn’t eat pork. Mogs asks Sway converting means he will have to give it up too. Sway says he already has. Mogs wonders if Sway is really man enough to give up bacon sandwiches and they all laugh.
Sway makes his way upstairs to find Shirley crying. She explains she is just feeling emotional and wishes her other son Clive could have been here. She can’t believe they haven’t heard from him all these years. Sway says Tracey tried to track him down but nothing. Shirley needs to get ready for church but Sway insists she eat first. Shirley wants Sway to come and say a prayer for Clive and he agrees.
Kuls asks Mogs to tell him more about mentoring. Mogs says they basically help troubled kids talk through their issues and talks about Delroy who he is mentoring at the moment. Kuljit asks how you get involved in the first place. Mogs says it’s a long process via the Fostering and Adoption agency but worth it in the end. Kuls is surprised at how wise Mogs seems and is told its all down to what he does. Tracey jokes she still has to nag him to change his socks every day though!
Sway invites Nadia to church but she says she’d rather not. He tells her why Shirley is down. Nadia asks him about Clive and is told he basically disappeared. That’s why Sway has had to play the perfect son to make up for it. But now he is letting Shirley down too by turning to Islam. It’s not exactly what she would have wanted!
