Zak is thrilled to learn that he’s been accepted for an apprenticeship with a reputable company. Kamal is happy for him and wishes that he could work to help the Akhtars out more. Zak notices that Kamal he has been looking pretty low recently but Kamal insists that he’s fine.

Simran’s meeting has been brought forward; she then begins to take out for her frustrations on Jaggy when he can’t baby-sit Kesar, as he has a training session. She thinks that it’s typical of Jaggy. A man’s work comes before a woman’s!

At Saffron Ray’s, Vinnie has his doubts over Mani’s investment in Kuljit’s business. He thinks that Kuljit is taking him for a ride. Mani is quick to point out that it is none of Vinnie’s business and that he is just jealous. Vinnie begins to make a point of questioning Kuljit’s contacts and his experience; he thinks that it’s all a mere dream. Mani appreciates his concern but insists he’s mind is already made up.

Simran is at her meeting with a representative from a hotel. Simran is hoping to use the hotel and its facilities for her wedding planning business. However, she has had to bring Kesar along and he becomes increasingly difficult. She keeps Kesar amused with a chocolate bar!. Simran manages to make it a productive meeting and looks at the possibility of using the hotel exclusively with a discount. Later, Simran apologises for snapping at Jaggy. She adds that she has just been used to him being readily available. Jaggy understands and reflects that as it’s his birthday today he would like to spend it with Kesar.

Meanwhile, Sway is touched when Pervaiz hands over a gift for Shirley’s 60th birthday. He adds that it is from all of the Akhtars and asks he sends on their best wishes to Shirley. In Silver Hill Park, Dr. Masud bumps into Kamal and when he asks him about living with the Akhtars, Kamal admits he feels like a burden. Dr. Masud emphasises with him and reflects on how that after the burglary his family have been watching over him and leaving him with no privacy. He then offers Kamal move in him as a lodger to solve both of their problems…
