Have your say

At Saffron Rays, Mani thinks that Kuljit should bury the hatchet with Sway for Shirley’s sake. Kuljit remains stubborn and thinks that it’s Sway who has the problem. He adds that his mind is elsewhere. Kuljit has met with potential backers for his Music Management business but he is finding it hard to get backers on board.

Rita visits Jas at the student house to find out how her interview with the newspaper went. Jas changes the subject. However, Rita gets her back on track and Jas states that the Editor was an obnoxious and sexiest pig. She thinks that she is not cut out for Journalism anymore and becomes cynical of the industry. She thinks that the news is full of gossip and celebrity pieces. Jas wants more satisfaction out of a job. Later, Jas emphatically states that she will find a job, but it won’t be in Journalism.

Danyal answers Shazia’s call and she urges him to start looking for a graduate job now that his exams are nearly over. He states that Arun tried to apologise to him, however, he doesn’t feel that he can’t trust him anymore. Danyal thinks that Arun only did it as Danyal is important to his career. He can still tell that Arun is uncomfortable around him. Shazia reminds Danyal that Arun is younger and comes from a sheltered family. She adds that friends should be allowed to make mistakes. Danyal thinks that Dr. Masud has been shaken up since the burglary. Shazia reflects that he is getting old and the family need to synchronise their movements to keep an eye on him. Dr. Masud overhears the conversation and adds that he doesn’t need babysitting!

Mani has set up Kuljit’s laptop and asks that he go through his business pitch. Kuljit is dejected from his last pitches and is under the impression that Mani is going to give him pointers. Kuljit presents his proposal and Mani is impressed. Mani then offers to invest £20,000 in the business, from his assets. Kuljit doesn’t want to take advantage of him. However, Mani insists that he wants to be apart of it. Kuljit is lost for words.
