Have your say
Zak and the cricket team are practicing in Silver Hill Park. Chunky then lollops over and Zak quietly tells the team that he had to ask him to join the team to make the numbers up. With Vinnie bowling, Arun ends up smashing the Chauhans’ window. Zak quickly tells him to go check on Kamla; she may think that they have had another break-in!
At the Bradys, Kamal awakes from a good night’s sleep. He hears the team practicing outside and remembers that he was meant to join them. He tells Mary that he used to play Cricket with his brother and friends in Afghanistan. He thinks that he was a different person then, someone who didn’t hurt people.
Arun tells Zak that he and Danyal have a networking get-together with some music industry people later tonight. Zak thinks that with all of the contacts, all the girls must love Danyal. He adds that it is probably why Arun hangs around with him. When Zak tells Sean this, Arun quickly changes the subject.
Pradeep visits Dr. Masud to hand over some leaflets for the City Farm steering group. However, when he approaches him in the front garden, Dr. Masud jolts and is clearly nervous. Despite, Pradeep’s concern, Dr. Masud insists that he is fine after the burglary.
Mary tells Kamal how she once helped a young unmarried girl to have an abortion. Mary adds that it was against their Catholic teachings but she still helped the terrified girl. She questions whether that makes her a bad person. She uses this to reflect on Kamal’s situation. Mary adds that Kamal was probably one of a few people who had respect for Miloska.
At the club, Arun continues to be rude around Danyal. Sean pulls him aside and tells him that Danyal will realise he has a problem with his sexuality if he continues. Arun then begins to rant about how he doesn’t need ‘Homo PR’ to help his career. Danyal overhears this and confronts him. Danyal thinks that Arun is just using him and he’s noticed his smarmy comments a long time ago. Danyal storms off and Arun tells Sean that he is just having a hissy fit and he has nothing to apologise for.
