Jas tries her best to convince Nadia that she should go to Shirley’s 60th birthday party. Nadia isn’t sure as she doesn’t want to add any drama to the celebrations. Later, Jas answers Roopa’s call and apologises that she is too busy to help her with revision. Nadia’s mood isn’t brightened when she learns that Jodie will be joining Kuljit to the party. Ultimately, this has helped Nadia make up her mind. If Jodie’s going to Shirley’s party, then so is she!
Jodie begins to tell Simran about how sharp Nadia was with her earlier. Simran reflects on how Nadia can keep a grudge and that it looks like she can’t get over Jodie and Sway sleeping together. Nadia’s sniping continues when Simran leaves for her business meeting.
Meanwhile, Rita tells Pradeep that she has returned to interpreting at the police station. She begins to make a point that she won’t be stuck behind the desk any more. Rita reminds Pradeep that her work is her business and for him to stay out of it. Later, Pradeep accepts that he made a mistake. He then breaks down at the thought of losing her. Rita comforts him. She adds that she felt the same when Pradeep saved Kesar from the burning salon. They share a moment and kiss. Rita urges Pradeep to leave or else he’ll be late for his City Farm meeting.
Jodie and the rest of the committee tell Pradeep that they can’t have livestock on site for a couple of months. Instead, they begin to focus on the vegetable plot scheme and selling the produce in boxes to recoup some of their costs.
At the Chauhans, Rita is helping Roopa with her French revision. Jas bursts in with news of an interview with the local newspaper. Rita is pleased for her and gets sidetracked from helping Roopa. Roopa gets upset by this and she calls Bina but reaches her answerphone. She’s fed up of her parents not caring and pleads with Bina to call her back.
