Kamal is doing some gardening for Zenab and tells her she has a beautiful garden. Zenab asks him to tidy up Imran’s garden in Silver Street as it must be a mess by now. There’s no point Kamal using a lawn mower here today as Imran is in bed with a migraine and it might disturb him. Zenab gives Kamal some money as a gift and he thanks her emotionally before heading off to tackle the other garden.
Roopa is trying to revise but Krishan is making too much noise and sets the parrot off too. Roopa reckons she has failed all her exams anyway so what’s the point. The phone rings and its Siobhan. Roopa offloads onto her before shouting up the stairs to Rita. Later Krishan makes Roopa a cup of tea and offers to put a revision wall-chart together for her as it might help. Roopa is touched by this unexpected gesture. Her joy is short-lived when Arun starts blasting his music upstairs and the stress makes Roopa break down crying. Krishan comes to the rescue again and rushes upstairs shouting at Arun to turn it off.
Kamal invites Nadia out to celebrate the money he is making from gardening but she is a bit tied up. Kamal accuses her of avoiding him saying she doesn’t talk to him anymore. Nadia denies this saying things are difficult at the moment but suggests they talk later. Kamal isn’t convinced she’ll have time then either and says he is going out. Kamal heads to the social club where he met Tariq recently and asks if he can have a private word. Can he get the number of ‘that girl’ as he needs someone to talk to? Tariq smiles saying she will definitely make Kamal feel better – for a price.
Kamal makes his way to Miloska’s place and she asks if this is his first time. Kamal says yes and Miloska promises to make it extra special for him for a hundred pounds. Kamal nervously pays her and Miloska tells him to relax. Kamal starts babbling about his family situation and says no-one has remembered his birthday. Miloska reassures him he can talk to her about anything and he is with her now. Everything is going to be alright……
