Zenab is looking for an e-card for Mushtaq’s birthday when she receives an email. Zenab is incredulous to discover its minutes from the City Farm meeting. How dare they send them after not voting Imran onto the steering committee? And they voted Zenab into the management group too. Pradeep arrives to explain to Imran that the decision to exclude him was nothing personal but he gets a frosty response. Imran says he needs to get out of here for a bit. Once Imran has gone Zenab tells Pradeep she should be involved in such an important project and is happy to be on the committee.
Jodie tries to make amends with Kuls. She asks how he knew Neel was seeing someone else and Kuls explains he answered Jodie’s mobile. Jodie persuades Kuls most of this has been a misunderstanding but she does have a confession to make. Jodie thought Sway told him and this resulted in a huge row with him and Nadia. It seems Kuls and Sway might never patch up their friendship now. Kuls tells Jodie the important thing is that he and Jodie are OK. Later Kuls tells Mani the relationship is back on track and from now on they will be upfront about everything. Mani suggests some things are better left unsaid. Kuls seems to know what he is referring to and agrees.
Brian has been called to the pub where a drunken Imran has been mouthing off about killing someone. The barmaid asks Brian if it’s true. Brian explains the circumstances but the barmaid says next time Imran gets in this state here he will be barred! Brian has no choice but to take Imran home and Zenab is horrified when she sees the state of him. They manage to get him into the house with Imran murmuring that Zenab wasn’t meant to see him like this. Brian admits Imran has been drinking in secret for months but it’s his way of forgetting about the trial and Zenab should let him but she doesn’t agree. She isn’t letting Imran out of her sight from now on. Brian protests that’s the last thing Imran needs but Zenab slams the door in Brian’s face and slumps to the ground in tears….
