Arun gets a call from Danyal who wonders what Arun decided about the radio station job. Arun says he’ll give it a go. Danyal then says there is another club night coming up. This one is in Arun’s neck of the woods. It’s a mixed crowd too and could become a regular night. Arun decides he’ll do it. Later Arun and Sean take a break from playing cricket in the park. Arun invites Sean to the club night saying it’ll cheer him up. Besides it’ll get him away from Danyal’s gay talk about things like the Eurovision Song Contest! Kuljit approaches and asks if they have been using their bags as the wickets only there is a bunch of lads heading towards them.
Simran meets up with Jodie and guesses things are going well with Kuljit but shouldn’t she end things properly with Neel? He might be on the other side of the world but he still has a right to know. Simran thinks there’s no time like the present – Jodie can call him now. Neel isn’t surprised by Jodie’s news and admits he has been seeing someone too. He reveals it’s Preeti who he mentioned before but as a work colleague. Jodie is furious and ends the call. Jodie fills Simran in and decides she is going to have to calm down before telling Kuls.
Sean invites Zak to join them but Arun comments Zak isn’t exactly dressed for cricket. Zak realises this is a stab at his Islamic dress and suggests Arun is worried he might trip over his beard whilst bowling. Sean hastily changes the subject and Zak says it’s a shame the gym is closing down – it’s been a part of their lives.
Elsewhere Kuls answers a call on Jodie’s mobile. Its Neel ringing to make sure she is OK and not too angry. Kuls listens as Neel explains what happened. Neel asks him to tell Jodie he called and thanks Kuls for being such a good mate to her. In fact Jodie always said Kuls is like a brother to her….
