Rita tells Rozena of her suspicions as other interpreters are working on police cases whereas she has been sidelined with community liaison work. Later, Rozena admits that she is finding the counseling sessions difficult. She adds that from her last session she realised that she always felt that she needed to prove herself to Mushtaq.
At the Parkside, Zenab and Kamal prepare the hall for the City Farm meeting. She notices how low and dejected Kamal has become and as a small gesture she offers him some gardening work. Kamal is grateful, maybe things are looking up for him.
Pradeep chairs the meeting with Mani and Zenab offering support. Pradeep is taken aback by some people’s concerns about Imran being on the Committee. There are rumblings from the floor that it could bring the Farm’s reputation into question. Zenab begins to get vocal and tries to defend Imran from what she sees as sniping behind his back. Zenab is disgusted when a ballot is taken and the majority vote is against Imran being apart of the committee. Pradeep is shocked as well but insists he can’t ignore it. Upset, Zenab rushes from the hall and Kamal runs after her. He tries to console her but she insists that she’s fine and declines his offer to walk her home.
Arun is at the Uni gig and tells Danyal that Mindy has managed to convince him that the late night DJ slot at the radio station is a good opportunity and he’s going to accept it. Arun’s good news continues when Danyal offers him a paid position in his events management company handling the music. Arun tries to keep cool and insists that he needs to thinks about it. Later, he does feel somewhat uncomfortable when Danyal adds that Hari who designed the lighting is cute. As the night draws to an end Danyal’s pulled and he asks Arun if Hari can stay the night.
