Kamal snaps at Nadia thinking that all she does is talk about Sway. As he storms past Khatija she thinks that he needs to get over himself. Later, Zak approaches Kamal in the park who is feeling guilty about what he just did. He begins to reflect on the anniversary of his father’s death and his family now displaced in a refugee camp. He begins to get disheartened as he examines his lack of prospects. Zak tries to encourage Kamal to keep faith but he gets side-tracked when a nervous Sway approaches…he’s ready for dinner at the Akhtars.
The meal goes well and Sway makes a heartfelt apology to the family about what happened with Kuljit. He insists that he had to make Kuljit understand how serious he is about converting. Sway then excuses himself to answer Qasim’s call and Nadia follows him out to steal a kiss. Sway is more cautious and thinks that they need to be careful. He doesn’t want to spoil the progress he’s making with her family and he can now see their relationship working.
Later, Kamal visits a men’s social club and a stranger named Tariq introduces himself, recognising Kamal from his newspaper article. As Tariq and Kamal get to know each other, Tariq offers Kamal a ‘lady friend’ for some company. Kamal is horrified and leaves but Tariq reminds Kamal that if he changes his mind, he knows where he is.
