Have your say
Kuljit and Jodie wake up in Kuljit’s bed after spending the whole weekend together. They are both still in a happy haze but it’s time to face the world. Kuljit has got some apologizing to do to Mani and then there’s Sway… He reckons Sway doesn’t realise how lucky he is to have a mum like Shirley. She was so good to Kuljit when he was a kid, he had to tell her about Sway. Jodie tries to cheer him up, telling Kuljit that Sway will thank him for it one day.
The Chauhans discuss the fight at Saffron Rays. Arun is on Kuljit’s side, he thinks Sway is trying to be something he’s not, just like Zak. He asks his parents’ advice on what he should wear to his interview at the radio station. Rita is concerned that he might neglect his college work with all this extra work but Arun’s already submitted all his projects, and the London gig will be a showcase of his talents for his tutors. His mum and dad can’t help but be impressed.
Mani apologizes to yet another customer wanting compensation for dry cleaning bills when the mystery ‘Mr Singh’ dissolves into laughter and Mani realises it’s Saj, winding him up. Vinnie’s complaining as well, he’s had to cover for Kuljit because Mani wants him out of the way until his black eye has gone. Just then Kuljit and Jodie arrive. Kuljit asks Mani if he can come back to work, promising to stay out of sight in the kitchen. Mani asks if he’s spoken to Sway yet and advises him to sort things out, good friends are too important to lose. Kuljit replies it’s Sway who is throwing away their friendship, not him.
Pradeep makes the phone call to Zenab he’s been dreading. When she answers she excitedly begins to tell him about all Imran’s new ideas, making Pradeep feel even worse when he has to tell her that the next meeting will be at the Parkside, not at the Jilani’s ... so Imran won’t be able to come.
