Sarah pays a surprise visit on Sway. He’s surprised to see his sister, and suspicious about her motives. Sarah pretends she’s had a bust up with her boyfriend to explain her visit. Sarah asks about Nadia and when Sway admits she’s moved out Sarah seizes the opportunity to get him to tell her exactly what’s going on. Sway tells her the whole story as Sarah tries to work out if his interest in Islam is genuine. In the end she’s convinced and reckons if he’s really serious about it then it’s ok by her … but their mum and Gramps might not be quite so understanding!
Sarah sneaks round to see Kuljit to report back. She tells him that although she thinks it’s weird she’s ok as long as Sway’s happy. Kuljit’s amazed, he didn’t think Sarah would react like this. He tells her Sway isn’t being honest. He’s trying to justify what he’s doing; changing his religion because he can’t change his colour, and that’s the Akhtar’s real problem. Sarah is outraged, and wants to go straight round to kick some sense into her brother. Kuljit persuades her not to because that would really drop him in it with Sway. Instead he talks Sarah into going back to London with him … to fill Shirley in with all the gory details!
