Zenab and Rozena are preparing food for the City Farm meeting. Rozena tells Zenab her counseling sessions are almost over and have given her a lot to think about. She shouts to Imran to come and help with the chairs. Imran is upstairs on a call to Jas. He takes a swig from a bottle and hides it in a drawer before heading downstairs. Elsewhere Pradeep has given Doctor Masud a lift to the meeting and admits he is worried there might be a poor turnout. The doctor just hopes Zenab has laid on a good spread.
The house is getting busy and Sameer is getting under Rozena’s feet so she gives him a task to do. Dr Masud starts on the nibbles and Zenab ropes him into carrying some food to the lounge. Pradeep offers to help Imran with the chairs. Sameer returns wondering if there is anything else he can do but Rozena says that’s everything. She could do with a chat after the meeting though.
The meeting gets underway and Pradeep’s agenda goes out of the window as Zenab seems to have a structure of her own in mind. She wants to begin by discussing the formation of a steering committee. Pradeep suggests that was item four on the agenda and they should come back to it later. Zenab then instructs Pradeep to show them his proposed site drawings. Pradeep tells the group about his recent trip to a farm but Dr Masud is more interested in the samosas. They discuss the logistics of the site and anticipated concerns and agree to have another meeting in two weeks. Zenab’s suggestion about it being here again doesn’t meet with enthusiasm from Pradeep.
Rozena and Sameer head off for a chat but she doesn’t know where to start. Sameer tells her to take her time. Rozena says the counselor suggested she talk to those closest to her about how the attack affected her but she isn’t ready. Besides their marriage falling apart wasn’t just down to the attack. It was down to Sameer too. Rozena then rushes out leaving Sameer completely confused about exactly what she means…..
