Pete bumps into Simran and congratulates her on her forthcoming wedding with Jaggy. Simran can’t believe her ears. Pete defends himself saying Khatija told Mary. Simran says she only bought all the magazines at Bradys News because she might start a wedding planning business!
Roopa is studying in the cafe when she gets a call from Siobhan. Roopa tells her she is stressed with her biology revision. Siobhan reckons she should ring the smartest person in the class and flatter them until they agree to help. Roopa says she might just do that.
Sean gets to the newsagents to find Kuls waiting to be served. Khatija is outside arguing about a delivery. Kuls says he was looking at the notice about the city farm. It’s something Amrit would have been interested in. Sean reckons its weird the next meeting is at the Jilani house but Kuls reminds him Parkside will be busy with polling day on Thursday.
Simran turns up at the café and fills Jodie in on what Pete said. Simran had to divulge her business plans but reckons he wasn’t really listening. Jodie changes the subject saying Neel phoned earlier but as usual was going on about his work. Simran asks if Kuls and Sway have patched up and Jodie says no. Mani wanted to intervene but Jodie told him not to. Later Kuls tells Jodie the whole thing is doing his head in. He is half tempted to phone Sway’s family to warn them he might convert to Islam. Jodie reckons all this religious study is hard and Sway might not even stay the course. They will just have to wait and see.
Sean gets a call from Siobhan. The thing is Hannah has seen a poster advertising a fair really wants to go. It would mean so much to her if Sean would come too. Sean says he has one condition. Later Sean tells Mary who thinks it’s brilliant he is going to meet his little sister at last. She insists Sean take some pictures. Sean suggests Mary take them herself seeing as Siobhan and Hannah have insisted they want her there too….
