Kuls leaves a message on Sway’s phone saying they need to talk. Sway listens to the message later and rings his mate Qasim to tell him about the classes at the mosque. Sway admits learning all the rites and rituals is tough. Qasim reassures Sway that some day they will be part of him. Sway then tells Qasim about his big bust up with Kuljit over converting to Islam. Qasim reckons they will patch up and advises Sway to hang in there. It will be worth it!
Zak runs into Sean whilst out jogging and tells him he would rather be in the gym only it’s closed. Sean says he will find out why. Zak asks if Sean has seen Arun around as they haven’t talked much since their argument. Sean reckons it’s about time Zak and Arun sorted their issues out. Later Pete tells Sean the gym is shut due to an electrical fault. Pete asks Sean to mind the bar so that he can take a call.
Khatija asks Mary if she has heard the exciting news about Jaggy and Simran getting married. Apparently Simran just bought every wedding magazine copy they had in. Simran is bound to ask Nadia to do her hair and makeup on the day. Khatija is still chattering away as Mary leaves. Zak comes in for some water and Khatija says he should be studying for his exams not jogging. Its bad enough he is distracted by spending all that time at the mosque with Sway. Zak reckons he might go to the supermarket next time. They don’t give him all this hassle!
Pete is finishing his call as Mary comes in. She suggests they have a cup of tea and then breaks the news to him about Jaggy and Simran. Pete is stunned but tries to play it cool. Mary doesn’t want him worrying but Pete says he is fine.
At the mosque the Imam warns Sway that today’s class is about relationships between men and women. He also knows about Sway and Nadia living together. Sway needs to be clear that in order to truly follow the Islamic way he can’t live with a woman outside of marriage……
