Arun tells Danyal he should make up with his dad, he needs money from him. Danyal refuses, not after the way he reacted when he told him he was gay.
Dr Masud wants to celebrate Rehan’s 24th but Rehan is still disturbed by finding out about his dad abusing his mum. Later Akram arrives to give Rehan a card in person. He says he’s been calling but Rehan says he lost his phone and besides has been studying. He hands him an envelope with some keys in it. Rehan discovers that his dad has bought him a car for his birthday.
Arun tells Sean that Danyal was slobbering over a builder, he may be able to do those things openly in London but not here. Sean thinks Arun is just worried people may think Danyal’s his boyfriend.
Kuljit goes on about the equipment in the brochures and won’t let Sway get a word in. Sway eventually is able to tell him that there is no point in them even discussing it.
Akram tells Rehan to introduce Danyal to some girls, he’s just confused, it’s a part of his student rebellion. Dr Masud warns Akram that he’s not welcome but Akram says what went on between him and Shazia, is between them. Dr Masud is furious, he is her father and if he doesn’t leave, he will call the police and he can take new his car with them.
Kuljit persuades Sway, this is the chance that they’ve been waiting for, it’s their dream. Sway believes he has to make a choice between Islam and music. Kuljit thinks Sway is too busy listening to people at the Mosque. Hasn’t he got a mind of his own? When they left London, they said they were going to be a team. Sway says things change and he’s fallen in love now, they had to grow up sometime. Kuljit is upset, he never thought his brother would leave him too. Sway confirms they’re still mates, he just can’t be a part of the studio that’s all. Kuljit believes its more than that and they both know it.
