Mushtaq is on the phone to his older brother Kashif. They buried his younger brother Raza at the weekend. Zenab suggests that he should go to see his distraught mother, his family need him or he will regret it.
Brian is shocked at the noise the builders are making. Sean’s phone rings and its Hannah, she wants him to go to a funfair with her. Sean explains to Brian that it’s all weird, his gran is his mum and his uncle is his brother and now he’s got a sister out the blue. Brian wants to know where Pete is, his phone is dead at the gym. Sean blames the builders but Brian thinks he’ll lose business if he doesn’t sort it out.
Zenab wants Rozena to get Mushtaq’s credit card so she can book him flights to Pakistan, he won’t go otherwise. Imran gets agitated with Zenab as he’s trying to print out some documents for the City Farm but she tells him not to fret, she’s invited Rita and Pradeep over for a meal and he can talk to Pradeep about it then. Rozena is surprised, her mother has cancelled her Italian meal out with Rita without even asking.
Brian and Imran toast a drink to Imran’s uncle Raza who died. Imran wonders why Brian is not at his local, he thinks he’s there to eye up the bar ladies. Brian pretends that is the reason why and makes a call when Imran has gone to the gents
Mushtaq is moaning about the builders slacking until Zenab presents him with some printouts of flights, his mum wants him there but Mushtaq still refuses, he’s needed at home.
Back at the pub, Brian suggests a birthday lunch at the Italian for Rozena’s birthday. When Imran gets back from the gents, Imran gets melancholic, he can’t even meet Pradeep about the City Farm proposal, he needs to be in Silver Street now.
