Have your say

Bill picks Mary up for their dinner with his kids, and is wowed by her new look! The meeting with Mel and Ray goes really well, with lots of laughs, as well as compliments from the kids on Mary’s new outfit. While she’s powdering her nose, Ray asks the kids what they think of her – they think that’s really sweet, and of course they like her! Later, when Mel and Ray leave, with the promise of sharing more evenings together, Mary tells Bill how much she’s enjoyed their company. He tells her the feeling’s mutual, and they’re both really pleased about how the evening’s gone.

Arun’s off to meet Danyal to talk music and gigs, and invites Mindy to come too. She’s worried she’ll get in the way, but Arun wants her there; she’s his girl, and he wants her with him, and after all, she knows her music. Arun and Danyal chat about forthcoming gigs and Danyal promises to get Arun on to pirate radio. Danyal goes to get drinks, and Mindy confronts Arun about why he’s being so clingy. He eventually admits that he’s worried about the London gig, which is for the Gay Society – he won’t know what music to play. Mindy is furious at his prejudice telling him to get over it, or he’ll never make it big, and he’ll deserve it!

Kuljit’s made a delicious meal for Jodie, and tells her about his visit to see his Dad. He explains that Amrit’s offered him £30,000 for his dream recording studio, but he’s not comfortable about it; that’s not why he reported Rajvinder. Jodie thinks Amrit deserves to be trusted with his intentions; Kuljit’s got to let him make his own decisions about what he does with his money. Kuljit’s also worried about the responsibility – what if he messes it all up and loses his Dad’s money. Jodie tells him his Dad would far rather Kuljit owed him, than a bank, and that the joy of seeing him succeed will make him very happy. Kuljit decides he will accept the money, and very excitedly he starts to make plans.
