Mani checks everything’s ready for Kuljit’s birthday party that he doesn’t know about. Jodie urges Mani to send his feedback form from the London trip and to make it positive to cheer Sway up.
Kuljit is a bit surprised to see Arun and Danyal. They talk music and Danyal suggests that someone could even have sampled his music before. Mani reckons he could sue but Kuljit thinks it depends on who sampled him, if its some major star, then fine but for a couple of seconds, it may just be a waste of time. Mani notices another track, it’s his friend Jalil’s which has also been sampled, five times! Arun says a top band has done it so Jalil may have been paid. This annoys Mani, he was better than Jalil!
Kuljit is looking for ice and notices lots of food which Jodie covers up as new stuff that didn’t sell well at the café. Simran arrives too and Kuljit is surprised that she’s dressed up for someone who was just popping in. Then Jas turns up with her college mates. Jodie makes Kuljit feel behind the sofa and he’s ecstatic, she’s bought him a CD and a book that he loved. He thanks her for listening the other day, he’s glad she was there.
Mani believes he should buy back his masters. Arun suggests he can mix them and stick it on a website to showcase their potential. Danyal tells Arun of his plans, he wants to set up a party events business, he’s got connections and has been promised some cash. He’s also ordered some lighting equipment and Arun can use it at his next gig.
Jodie and Kuljit dance slowly whilst Mani’s new sidekicks take over the music. Jodie teases Kuljit about it but he says they have the theories but him and Sway have done the real thing. He manages to throw a tiddly Arun and Danyal off the sofa and kisses Jodie on the cheek for a great night, they could have a different ending this time? Jodie laughs and says they’re great mates and that’s how she’s like it to stay. An oblivious Kuljit heads off for trifle.
