The trippers get off to an early start and Khatija wastes no time in sniping at Sway. Everyone else is in good spirits though. Vinnie starts a game of eye spy that goes on forever. Finally he has to give the answer and the others aren’t impressed when they find out ‘B’ is for a burger van they passed about an hour ago!
Sway tries to get on Pervaiz’s good side, asking him to help navigate. Pervaiz makes an excuse that London has changed so much since he was there he can’t help. Vinnie jumps in with a short cut he knows but Sway knows his own short cuts.
At the hotel Kamla takes charge and allocates the rooms. Khatija is sure they’ll get a raw deal and Kamla will save all the best rooms for her own family. When Kamla gives separate keys to Mary and Bill Khatija whispers to Pervaiz ‘Who are they trying to kid!’ When the rooms are sorted its time for the tour of the House of Commons with Shazia Mailk. She gives them the full works but Vinnie finds it hard to take seriously as usual. Just as Shazia is winding up the tour a colleague interrupts her to see if she’s got time for a coffee. Shazia says goodbye to the group and goes off with Lynne, her colleague. As the group wander off Kamla disappears to make a secret phone call to Spike and arranges to meet him tomorrow.
Meanwhile, Lynne is asking a big favour from Shazia. She runs a refuge for victims of domestic violence but they need more government support. Shazia could help them so much, if she made her story public and told the world that she was once a victim too…
