Krishan is too scared to open his Eleven-Plus results. Rita offers to do it confirms its good news. Arun wonders why they are making such a big fuss of their little ‘genius’. Maybe they think Arun is thick in comparison because he went to a normal comprehensive school. Rita reminds him they are proud of him too but Arun says he is going out. Krishan suggests his parents let him keep the goat and parrot for pets as a reward.
Over in London Kuls is still trying to find Amrit. In a call to Jodie he admits to fearing the worst and blames himself for everything. Jodie then says Neel has tracked down Kuljit’s uncle Gurmail who might be able to prove Rajvinder is a fraud. And the good news is he is in the UK. Kuljit later discovers Amrit in the park and begs him to come back to Neera’s place. Amrit says he will but doesn’t want Kuljit there. He won’t hear a word against Rajvinder and will be supporting her at the hearing.
Sway discovers Arun lost in thought on the swings in the park. Arun says he’s got things on his mind. Its all well and good dating someone cool like Mindy but it’s not the same as hanging with your mates. He tells Sway about his recent argument with Zak and wishes things could be like they used to. Zak has changed so much. Sway points out that friendships don’t have to die because people change but Arun isn’t convinced.
Deepak rings Rita again and she takes the phone into the kitchen away from Pradeep. Rita tells Deepak he has to stop phoning her. Why doesn’t he use the help numbers she gave him? The conversation is interrupted by Pradeep coming in to see if she is OK. Rita says she’s fine but then Deepak rings again. Rita repeats firmly that she can’t help. Pradeep says it’s for the best but Rita wonders if it really is………
