Krishan is worried about Mooli being off its food. Pradeep reckons he is probably just jealous of the parrot but Krishan dismisses that as ridiculous. He knows Pradeep want shim to choose between the parrot and the goat but there is no way. Pradeep points out they can’t afford to keep both pets but Krishan tries bargaining. What is he passes his 11-plus?
Mindy calls Arun to see he is OK after their experience last night. Arun is still angry but Mindy tells him to forget about it. Later, Rita doesn’t agree with Arun’s theory that they were stopped for being Asian. Arun stomps off and Rita goes after him. The doorbell rings and Arun’s mood isn’t improved by the arrival of PC Higgins who wants to finalise the school presentation arrangements with Rita.
Zenab makes another attempt at persuading Imran that a day out would be good for him. He has been cooped up in his room for long enough. Fresh air works wonders for the mind and the body. Imran thanks her but says if he needs fresh air he’ll open a window.
Elsewhere Arun is annoyed when Zak suggests people who get drunk and act big deserve police harassment. It’s hardly the same as innocent brothers getting arrested for practicing their faith. Arun can’t believe this and claims it’s down to Zak’s ‘fundamental brothers’ they got stopped in the first place. The police saw Arun’s skin colour and mistook him for one of that lot!
Kuls tells Sway he discovered Rajvinder used Amrit’s money to get a relative and his family over from India to visit Amrit in hospital. They weren’t even close so why would she do that? Sway smells a rat but reckons Kuls should check the story out with Amrit. Kuls says his dad still won’t speak to him but Sway says he will after the hearing. Kuls isn’t sure about that – he has to prove everything first.
Elsewhere Zenab tells Imran she is only doing this to help her family. Has Imran considered anyone apart from himself? Zenab says they can all do what they want from now on. Imran listens and then agrees that a day out might be OK after all…..
