Kamla is panicking about not getting enough people together for the trip to London. Mary won’t leave the pub and Rita is making excuses too. Kamla reckons Sway will cancel the trip. Rita suggests asking Khatija and Pervaiz but Kamla is reluctant. Rita’s phone rings but she ignores it saying it’s a sales call.
Arun and Mindy are in a bar when Danyal rings to ask if Arun would do a set at the next Student Union gig. They’ll pay him and provide expenses. Arun agrees immediately and Danyal says he’ll get the details over to him. As soon as the call is ended a triumphant Arun fills Mindy in. Mindy reckons they should go clubbing to celebrate.
Rita has been worried about Rozena and calls her for a chat. Rozena says she is fine apart Zenab trying to force her and Imran to have a ‘family day out’. Rita reckons it’s not such a bad idea but then Rozena changes the subject. She had her first session with the rape counselor today but it did go well. Rita points out that Rozena has her outlet now but what about Imran?
Over at the club Arun impresses Mindy with his dance moves and says he wishes she’d come to London with him. Mindy has to work but playfully warns Arun to behave himself. Arun teases back saying all those doting female fans are an occupational hazard and it has to be done.
Arun and Mindy are running for the last bus when they are approached by a couple of police officers. They start asking questions which wind Arun up. He is told to calm down or they’ll take him to the station to cool off. They decide to search Mindy’s handbag and Arun accuses them of harassment. Mindy realizes the situation is getting out of hand and tells Arun to apologise. The officers leave and Mindy tells Arun to count himself lucky they didn’t stick a charge on him for shouting his mouth off…..
