Rita asks Mary for a Comic Relief fund raising pack as Krishan has been pestering her for it. Mary remembers when Sean and Krishan did a sponsored spell for it but Rita reminds her that was for Children in Need. Mary realizes Rita is right, it was around the time Kamla moved into the house Jai ‘bought’ for her. Mary saw Kamla looking serious earlier and Rita explains she is engrossed with organizing the Parkside trip.
Kamla has decided the trip should be to London. Shazia has offered to show them round the Houses of Parliament for free but Sway will need to provide more subsidy funds. Sway tells Kamla there is no more money and this doesn’t go down well. Kamla retorts its funny how they had money to take those ‘troublemakers’ on that Adventure Week in Wales!
Rita is glad to see Sean getting on with his Gran again but how are things with Siobhan? Sean isn’t sure he needs his long lost mum but their conversation is interrupted by Rita’s phone ringing. It’s someone Rita met doing her first translating job for the police last year. Deepak tells her things are worse but Rita can’t help. She says she should never have given him her number in the first place and hangs up.
Rozena discovers Zenab has cooked enough food to feed an army. Zenab explains its all Rozena and Imran’s favorite dishes. She also wants to talk to Rozena about them getting out for the day. It would be good for all of them after everything that has happened particularly Imran. Rozena isn’t sure but Zenab says it’s important and asks Rozena to get her brother. Imran immediately rejects the idea.
Rita is trying to persuade Krishan to tidy up after himself when the doorbell rings. He races off and discovers a parrot on the doorstep. Rita reckons this is all down to Pradeep and that goat. They are becoming some sort of animal sanctuary. Krishan takes to the parrot immediately and tries teaching it to talk. Suddenly the parrot starts swearing in Punjabi and Rita realizes just why someone decided to dump it………
