Pervaiz tells the family how he got roped into helping Sway at the centre. Zak brings up the subject of Nadia’s advert in the paper and how she is cashing in on Simran’s troubles. Maybe they should stop giving Nadia phone messages from customers. Khatija agrees but Kamal pushes his food away and leaves the house. Later Sean tells Zak that Kamal is in a right state. It’s hard for him to listen to all this stuff about Nadia. Plus Zak reminds Kamal of his brother who got killed. Kamal worries Zak might do something reckless too. Zak says he’ll talk to him. A subdued Zak heads home where his parents assume something has happened with Nadia. Zak says he is fine and heads upstairs.
Sway and Mani are observing the youth music group at the centre. Sway reckons that overall the activity week is going well and then says he made a breakthrough with Nadia’s family the other day. Sway says Pervaiz helped out and perhaps they will come to accept him in the end. Meanwhile Gary is struggling to do some mixing and decides to call it a day. Kuls suggests he might concentrate on writing some lyrics instead.
Gary’s lyrics are all about his dad’s killer but he gets frustrated and kicks a chair over. He then storms onto stage and picks a fight with Tyrone. A furious Kuljit drags Gary outside saying he’s gone too far this time. Kuls harshly tells Gary to accept what happened to his dad and start behaving responsibly. Kuls only stops his onslaught when Gary starts crying. He tells Kuls how he feels about Imran murdering his dad. No-one understands not even his mum. Kuls tells Gary he can talk to him from now on and suggests he go home for the day. Gary needs to look after himself now….
