With all the new safety measures in place Sway and Nadia move back to their flat. Nadia seems more excited at the prospect of seeing her advert in the paper though. As Sway begins to unpack he spoils Nadia’s Valentine surprise when he finds a teddy hiding some concert tickets for his favourite band.
Simran drops in on Pete on the way to her beauty demo. Pete’s feeling uncomfortable about visiting Simran at Jaggy’s so they haven’t seen each other much lately. Simran moans to Pete about Nadia’s advert, she thinks it’s really out of order, cashing in like that. Simran decides to call in on Nadia on the pretext of borrowing some equipment in order to embarrass her about her behaviour.
Pradeep’s contribution to ‘Beyond the Sofa’ is to introduce the local kids to Mooli to try and educate them about where their food comes from. The goat has other ideas and seeing Simran it jumps up making her drop the boxes she’s carrying. Pervaiz is helping her when Sway comes out and asks if Pervaiz will help him set up Simran’s tables. Put on the spot, Pervaiz reluctantly agrees.
After her demonstration, Simran drops in to the gym again to see Pete. Simran mentions she’s decided not to re-register Kesar like Jaggy wanted but has altered her will instead. She’s named Jaggy as Kesar’s guardian if anything happens to her. Pete reckons if Simran was no longer part of the package, Jaggy may lose interest in Kesar. When Simran jumps to Jaggy’s defence they descend into a row. Pete finally snaps, he’s had enough of playing second fiddle and tells Simran, that’s it, it’s over.
