Jaggy and Simran take Kesar for a stroll in the park. Simran tells Jaggy that she’s decided to make a will. If anything happened to her, he would be Kesar’s guardian. She would have to appoint two trustees to look after the money Kesar would inherit from her and she’s thinking of Jodie and Pervaiz. Jaggy is a bit confused, isn’t it just easier to get a new birth certificate?
Jas visits Imran and tells him that Rita has told her everything about how he protected Rozena that night. Imran is surprised but glad that Rozena gave her permission for them to talk about it. Jas thinks it’s a relief as it explains his behaviour. Imran is sarcastic but she tells him to see it from her point of view, he lashed out that day at Adam, he didn’t deserve the beating he got. Imran realizes how much grief he has put Jas through. He tells Jas that he killed a man to protect Rozena but there’s nothing he can do to protect her now.
Jodie visits Simran at Jaggy’s flat. Simran wishes she was in her own place and back in the salon. Jodie thinks Nadia is off winning new clients but Simran’s beauty demo will be a blast so she shouldn’t worry. Simran’s not seeing much of Pete either as he has to visit in Jaggy’s territory, she wonders if he’s getting cold feet.
Imran thanks Rozena for letting Jas know the truth. Rozena is relieved that 2 men in their 30’s have been arrested in connection with the fire and Gary wasn’t one of them, which Imran is glad about.
Kuljit rings Rachel, he misses her, it’s like having his favourite programme axed. She agrees to meet to pick some things up but that’s all.
Simran tells Jaggy that the insurers rang and they’ve offered to pay for a hotel for her and Kesar. Jaggy is gutted but tries not to show it. She’s thought about it and its best if they both stay, Kesar doesn’t need more upheaval. Jaggy is ecstatic.
