Pete tells Bill he is stressed. The boxing gym isn’t doing too well and he neglected it last week spending all that time in hospital with Simran. Bill asks how Pete feels about the fact that Simran is living with Jaggy but Pete says it’s a practical arrangement that’s all. Pete then asks if Mary and Bill are doing anything special tomorrow for Mary’s birthday but Bill didn’t know about it. He thanks Pete for the tip and says he’ll think of something.
Rozena is on the phone sorting out the staff from Jilani Stores who are worried about their jobs after the fire. Mushtaq thinks Rozena is doing a good job but worries she might be taking on too much. Rozena suggests her dad should concentrate on being at home and getting Imran talking again. Mushtaq reckons Imran would rather talk to Mani than to him so what’s the point. They are interrupted by the phone ringing again.
Jaggy is telling Simran to rest while he sees to Kesar. Simran isn’t sleeping well because she can’t help thinking about the salon. They are interrupted by a phone call from the loss adjusters.
Mushtaq eventually agrees to go home once Rozena has convinced him it’s all sorted with the insurers and that her next task is sorting out Nadia and Sway’s flat. Before he goes he suggests Sameer might help out too but Rozena insists she has it all under control.
Bill turns up at the gym to ask for Pete’s advice on a gift for Mary. Pete thinks the best present would be to get Sean to move back home but Bill says that isn’t within his power. Pete suggests Bill take Mary to see the latest Brad Pitt film as she is a fan.
Simran is interrogated by a police officer and fire investigator and is offended by the questions. Are they suggesting she started the fire deliberately? By the time they leave she is very upset and Jaggy does his best to console her…..
