Khatija is worried for Nadia living over Jilani Fashions after the fire. She tries to persuade her to come home but Nadia isn’t interested unless the invitation is open to Sway as well. Nadia can’t help but worry a bit herself though. Sway reassures her he’ll make sure they are safe. He’s going to make the Jilani’s install fire doors and extinguishers in the flat – whatever it takes.
Mani takes Sway for a drink and broaches the subject of Sway thinking about converting to Islam. Sway is annoyed that everyone seems to have an opinion when he hasn’t even reached a decision yet! He soon calms down though and confides in Mani about his fears. If he does convert it’s going to mean a complete change of lifestyle and he’s not sure he’s ready to give up his pints just yet. Mani advises him he should do whatever makes the most people happy even if it means just going along with it for Nadia’s parents. Sway is unsure though, he doesn’t want to deceive them and just pretend he believes. If only life wasn’t so complicated!

Kuljit is oblivious to the way she’s been feeling so is shocked by her announcement. He tries to persuade her to stay and talk it over, he promises he’ll change. From now on Rachel will be top of his list. But it’s all too late for Rachel and she gives him a farewell kiss as she walks out of his life.
