Pete visits Simran at Beauty Magic, he just wishes he was a part of the Lohri celebrations. Surinder notices him as she comes down with Kesar having dressed him in her choice of clothes.
Kamla is preparing the food for Simran’s Lohri and Pradeep is in the garden trying to get the bonfire lit. Rita and Pradeep get chatting about Imran and he says how glad Jas’s relationship with him is over and how they best change the goat’s name under the circumstances.
Surinder is moaning that Kesar’s Lohri is held in that woman’s house, Simran says it’s in a neutral place and besides Kamla does have a major stake in all this, she delivered him. She wonders about the man who was in the salon earlier but Simran quickly changes the subject.
Everyone is trying to light the bonfire in the drizzle and Pradeep wants Rita to block the wind. She wonders how wide he thinks she is! They chat about Roopa and the choices she has to make after her GCSE’s but they agree they don’t want to put pressure on her.
Surinder and Kamla have a bicker about their halva and how Surinder puts almonds on hers. Kamla says there are almonds on it, she must be blind. Pradeep is warming to keeping the goat which delights Krishan. Rita notices Jas isn’t relaxed at all. Rita reckons if Imran is a murderer, Jas could have been in real danger, they have to help her through it. Pradeep then runs out to shout at the goat for drinking all of the fruit punch.
Rita visits Rozena who is still shaken about everything. She says Imran has been a pressure cooker waiting to blow. Rita asks whether she’s been interviewed yet, Rozena says they don’t know about her as Imran is adamant he wants her out of it. Rita believes with the horrific attack on her being unknown to all, Imran’s self defence plea is hopeless.
