At the Chauhans, the goat’s constant noise has kept Kamla awake all night and now she has a splitting headache. Suddenly, Krishan shouts in pain from the kitchen and Kamla forces the door open to find the goat charging after her. Once Krishan manages to calm down the overzealous animal, Kamla becomes tearful. She can’t handle the goat being in the house anymore and tells Pradeep that either goat leaves or she does.
Later, cooler heads prevail and she tells Jas she has found an escape from the mayhem. Sway has made her responsible for arranging day trips and mini-breaks for the Parkside. Kamla thinks that when Pradeep takes the goat to the abattoir they can use the garden for Simran to have Kesar’s Lohri celebration.
Krishan tells Rita and Pradeep he won’t let them have the goat slaughtered and he will start a campaign to save ‘The Silver Street One’. Pradeep is furious when Krishan admits to him and Jas that he saw Imran and he paid him not to tell anyone.
Meanwhile, Mary goes out of her way to see Sean at the Barge with another present, despite, Bill’s concerns that she is pushing him further away. Later, Mary snaps at Rita when she bumps into her at the canalside. She thinks that if Rita wasn’t plotting with Siobhan behind her back Sean would still living with her.
At Brady’s News, Mary tells Bill that Sean treated her indifferently and fears that she has lost both Siobhan and Sean. Mary then begins to find herself somewhat defending her daughter and reminding Kamla of her trouble with Jai. Mary acknowledges that Siobhan has had her problems and she is trying to make amends and rhetorically asks whether she should give her a chance.
